Engine & Maintenance
Powered by a Kubota 47.9HP Tier 4 final engine for reliability and features low noise, low vibration and low fuel consumption.
The engine bonnet opens wide to the rear giving you easy convenient access to all the key maintenance points, reducing downtime and costs. The new modern digital display with digital meter is easy-to-read and displays error messages to keep the operator fully informed of loader and engine conditions. Fuel level indication buzzer sounds to prevent overfilling.
Standard Pre Cleaner to keep dust and dirt away from engine and extend filter life while reducing maintenance costs.

The R540 offers a supremely comfortable operator space, with a wide entry and ample leg room to a fully adjustable suspension seat the R540 is designed to reduce stress and fatigue while operating in comfort. Hanging style foot pedals for increased foot space and a cleaner floorboard appearance. Optional bright LED headlights available. Low clearance of 2460mm (Canopy)/2480mm (Cab) allows you to work under low-hanging eaves and hard to get to areas also with easy travel under low bridges.

Long dumping reach (805mm) and high dumping clearance (2150mm) makes all types of dumping jobs literally within reach, like quickly dumping into truck beds. Standard self-leveling function to keep the bucket level while operating. Standard with .4m3 capacity GP bucket with teeth and strong breakout force of 2661kgf. Increased wheelbase from 1950mm (R065) to 2000mm (R540) and 2% more rated operating capacity from 1315 to 1345kg with a bucket. Reinforced main frame where the loader arms mount. Loader arms taper in towards the cab for better operator visibility.

4WD and limited slip differential allows you to power through challenging terrains like mud, sand and snow, when one front wheel slips the power is transferred to the opposite wheel restoring traction allowing you to power through to firm ground.
